Oakes/Leone is an introduction to engineering text. Although introduction to engineering is not offered at all schools, we are seeing the course grow (22% up in last two years TWM Research) as students enter engineering schools and drop out in their second year because they are overwhelmed bythe math and physics and have not received any engineering instruction at all.
