This document presents a systematic literature review and meta-analyses comparing the nutritional composition of organic vs. conventional crops. The review analyzed 343 peer-reviewed publications. Key findings include:
1) Organic crops had significantly higher concentrations of various antioxidants like polyphenols, with some classes like flavonols up to 50% higher. 
2) Organic crops also had lower incidence of pesticide residues, with residues found 4 times more frequently in conventional crops. 
3) Organic crops contained significantly less of the toxic metal cadmium.
4) The higher antioxidant levels and lower cadmium in organic crops are linked to practices like excluding synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
