This document discusses a case study on how two multinational corporations in Penang, Malaysia incorporate stakeholder approach in their corporate social responsibility practices. The study uses stakeholder theory as its framework and examines the companies' internal and external CSR aspects, how they address primary and secondary stakeholders' concerns, and factors influencing CSR practices for each stakeholder group. Key findings include that addressing economic, ethical and legal concerns for stakeholders is important in developing countries, and that differences between home and host countries can affect CSR implementation.
