MBTA AFC/REVENUE ADVISORY Monthly LinkPass on CharlieTicket Not Accepted on Private Carrier Bus Routes • Effective February 1, 2015 • Routes 710 in Medford, 712/713 in Winthrop, 714 in Hull, and 716 in Canton • All other pass types currently accepted on these routes will continue to be accepted • Monthly LinkPass customers who use these routes should be encouraged to purchase a Zone 1A Monthly Pass instead (which is priced the same as the Monthly LinkPass) • This is part of an initiative to migrate to smartcard-only fare media to improve reliability, and reduce fraud exposure, maintenance costs, and transaction times PLEASE DISTRIBUTE JAN 2, 2015
