The nameiscurrentlyinuseforaspeciesofscorpionfromChile. TheCommissionwasaskedtovoteseparatelyontherevisedapplicationtoconserve the name vittatus Say, 1821 by designating a neotype, thereby also conservinghentzi Banks, 1904(proposalspublishedin BZN48: 55), and ontheapplicationtoconserve ButhusvittatusGuerinMeneville,[1838](proposalspubUshedinBZN48: 56).
