Itwasdemonstratedthatcadmium,calcium, copperandleadincreasedproPOactivitysignificantly,whereasmagnesiumhad nostatisticallysignificanteffectonthesystem. Also,themolecularweightofthe proPOenzymewasestimatedusingSDS-PAGEandfoundtobeapproximately76 kDa.
