This document summarizes a research study that evaluated the effects of different daily feeding rates on growth performance and body composition of young Russian sturgeon (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii). The study found that feeding rate significantly affected body weight gain and specific growth rate, with the highest rates observed at feeding rates of 2% of body weight per day and ad libitum. Feeding at 2% of body weight per day resulted in optimal growth performance and feed conversion efficiency. The results suggest an optimal feeding rate of between 2% of body weight per day and ad libitum for culturing Russian sturgeon juveniles.
