This document summarizes a research article about the supply chain of the copper mining industry. The purpose of the research was to identify processes and determinants in the creation and operation of copper mining supply chains, considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through qualitative research methods including process mapping and case study analysis, the researchers found that coordination and integration of logistics processes significantly impacts mining supply chains. Individual levels of the copper mining supply chain have specific determinants in natural/geological, political, economic, legislative, social, environmental, and technological groups.
