The story books got it wrong. When I started at the elite, Aradia Academy, I wasn’t met with open arms by my peers, nor did I immediately rise to the top as best student. Some might say I barely survived. Now it’s time for summer break, but after multiple attempts on my life with my attacker still at large, it’s not looking like what I had hoped. Instead, the dean has arranged for me to spend the break in a small town, in an even smaller house where no one will know where to find me.
